The most interesting additional member benefits offered by VNZ are:
Eyes & ears
Max. €50 per year
VNZ partially reimburses spectacle lenses, frames, contact lenses (with prescription), and eye patches. Per calendar year, you are entitled to a reimbursement of up to €50 per person, without a prescription.
Every four years, with a prescription from an ophthalmologist, a reimbursement of up to €100 is possible.
The reimbursement applies to spectacles or contact lenses with prescription diopters other than zero. The reimbursement for eye patches applies only to the treatment of a lazy eye (amblyopia).

Treatment & guidance
€10 per consultation (max. 80 sessions)
VNZ provides a €10 reimbursement per speech lesson, with a maximum of 80 lessons (a maximum of €800 per calendar year and per person) for all members.
The reimbursement is limited to two years for the same disorder.
Youth: max. €300 per year
Adults: max. €150 per year
VNZ reimburses up to €300 for psychological counseling:
Young people under 18 receive €20 per session, with a maximum of €300 per calendar year and per person.
Adults receive €10 per session, with a maximum of €150 per calendar year and per person.
There may be no reimbursement through compulsory health insurance, and the counseling is provided by a certified educational psychologist, psychologist, clinical sexologist, psychotherapist, or with a master's degree in educational psychology or psychology.
Children & youth
€0 personal contribution per hour,
max. 8 days per year
VNZ provides up to eight days of free home care for sick children per calendar year for children aged 0 to 12. Maximum of 4 consecutive workdays.
Minimum of 5 and maximum of 9 hours per day between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Excludes weekends and public holidays.
Care & hospital
Max. €700 per year
VNZ provides a reimbursement of €25 per overnight stay for a care stay of up to 28 nights (max. €700 per calendar year and per person).
- Approval from the VNZ's consulting physician is required.
- Recovery from a major surgical procedure or treatment with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or kidney dialysis
- Recovery from certain serious conditions (e.g., pathology)
- After an uninterrupted hospital stay of at least 6 nights
- During treatment for depression or burnout
