What is la Mutualité Neutre (MN)?
Mutualité Neutre health insurance fund
Mutualité Neutre is one of the independent mutual insurance funds in Belgium. The neutral mutual insurance funds of the provinces of Liège, Hainaut, Namur, and Luxembourg joined forces in 2019 under the name la Mutualité Neutre(MN). MN was founded on the values of solidarity, independence, and social commitment in the field of health.
Today, MN has approximately two hundred thousand members across Belgium. The fund organizes the legal reimbursement of medical expenses for its members, and also handles claims for benefits, for example in cases of work incapacity or pregnancy.
MN is an independent mutual fund, without a political, religious or economic affiliation. It welcomes any individual, regardless of their opinions, creed or philosophy of life.
Benefits reserved for MN members
In addition to managing mandatory health insurance, MN offers its members a wide range of supplementary benefits. These cover various areas such as maternity, dental care, health and well-being, prevention, family support…
Insurance
La Mutualité Neutre offers several optional insurance plans for better protection of its members. The Neutra hospitalisation insurance plans (with five options: Base, Optimum, Plus, Comfort, and Top) cover medical expenses in the event of hospitalisation.
