Partenamut is one of the leading mutual health insurance funds in Belgium. Created in the 20th century, it has developed around the values of solidarity, independence and innovation in the field of health and social protection.
Today, Partenamut has 1.35 million members. The health insurance fund provides statutory reimbursement for medical expenses, and also handles various types of compensation claims, for example in cases of work incapacity or pregnancy.
Partenamut is an independent health insurance fund, active in both Wallonia and Brussels, serving a diverse public. Partenamut has no political, religious, or economic affiliation and is a member of the National Union of Independent Health Insurance Funds, as is its Flemish counterpart, Helan, in Flanders.

Insurances
Partenamut offers several optional insurance policies to enhance its members' coverage. The Hospitalia Smart, Hospitalia Care, and Hospitalia Plus hospitalisation insurances cover medical expenses related to hospitalisation. Partenamut's offering also includes Dentalia Plus supplemental dental insurance, which covers expensive dental care and orthodontics. A hospitalisation waiting period policy called Hospitalia Continuity is also part of the mutual insurance company's offering.
Partenamut emphasizes close relationships with its members through a network of branches, digital services (video calls), and personalised support. The mutual health insurance fund upholds values such as solidarity, autonomy, innovation, and accessible healthcare. 'My Partenamut' is Partenamut's online platform that allows members to manage their files easily. Key features include, among others:
