A Solidaris employee will contact you to finalise your application. This step can take approximately four weeks, but Solidaris will handle everything. Once your application is finalised, the actual transfer can take place on the first day of the following quarter. Legally, the actual transfer to Solidaris can only occur on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, or October 1st.

Switching hospitalisation insurance Solidaris

If you wish to switch to Solidaris Essentiel or Essentiel+ hospitalisation coverage, you can apply quickly and free of charge via our website.

If you have had private hospitalisation insurance with another health insurance organisation or insurer for at least one year and then change, the notice period is only 2 months. The waiting period for the new coverage can be eliminated when switching to a comparable hospitalisation insurance policy.
