Compare the member benefits of Solidaris with those offered by other health insurance funds
Anyone affiliated with the Solidaris mutual insurance fund for statutory reimbursements under compulsory health insurance automatically benefits from additional advantages reserved for Solidaris members.
You can compare the benefits offered by Solidaris with those offered by other health insurance funds here. Our simulator will ask for your postal code, family composition, and the topics that are important to you. It will then quickly and easily guide you to the health insurance fund where the offer is best suited to your needs and those of your family.
Below are some examples of the additional benefits offered to members of Solidaris Wallonie:
Eyes & ears
Maximum €75 per year (under 18)
Maximum €100 every 3 years (over 18)
Solidaris reimburses €75 annually for the purchase of eyeglass frames, lenses, and/or contact lenses for those under 18, and €100 every three years for those over 18.
You must purchase your frames and glasses from Optique Point de Mire and provide a copy of the invoice.
-A 20% discount is also available at Optique Point de Mire.
-A 30% discount is available at Optique Point de Mire for those under 18.
Treatment & guidance
Max. €400 per year
Solidaris reimburses up to €400 per year for consultations with a psychologist recognized by Solidaris (maximum €20 per session).
For a psychologist consultation booked through the Doktr app, Solidaris also offers a €20 discount thanks to the psychology advantage.
0–18 years: 100% reimbursement of the personal contribution + €5 per session (max €1,040)
Full reimbursement of the personal contribution for speech therapy sessions. No cap and no deductible.
When there is no reimbursement from the compulsory insurance, €5 per session is reimbursed (maximum of 208 sessions over a period of 2 years).
Children & youth
Max. €470 per year
Solidaris reimburses:
- For residential stays outside of school holidays: €10 per night, up to a maximum of 8 nights per calendar year. (Increased to €35 per night for stays where the organization and/or accommodation is provided by an organization recognized by the health insurance fund.)
- For field trips during the school year (seaside, snow, nature, school trips): €5 per day, up to a maximum of 25 days per calendar year. (Increased to €6 per day for non-residential day camps and camps where the organization is provided by an organization recognized by the health insurance fund.)
- For school trips to the seaside, snow, and nature camps: €10 per night, up to a maximum of 4 nights per calendar year.
Care & hospital
Max. €3,000 per year
Solidaris provides beneficiaries with a subsidy of €50 per day towards the cost of an urgent convalescent stay of at least 7 days and up to 60 days per calendar year in a facility recognized by the Health Insurance Fund: La Maison de Mariemont in Morlanwelz
- Urgent convalescent care is for beneficiaries suffering from an acute illness or an acute flare-up of a chronic condition requiring immediate convalescence.
- Convalescence must follow immediately upon discharge from the hospital.
Solidaris also provides beneficiaries with a subsidy of €13.50 per day per beneficiary towards the cost of a short urgent convalescent stay of at least 7 days and up to 21 days per calendar year in a nursing home for the elderly.
