Members of la Mutualité Neutre benefit from additional advantages such as reimbursements, discounts, and services that reduce medical expenses. It is always helpful to compare these benefits with those offered by other funds to determine which offer best suits your needs.
Anyone affiliated with MN for compulsory health insurance automatically benefits from additional advantages reserved for members.
You can easily compare the benefits offered to MN members with those offered by other health insurance funds. Below you will find some of the additional benefits offered to MN members:
Eyes & ears
Glasses & lenses
Max. €120 per 3 years
In the absence of any intervention by the INAMI, La Mutualité Neutre provides a reimbursement of €120 every 36 months (from invoice date to invoice date) for frames, lenses, or contact lenses.
This reimbursement applies to both purchases and rentals. It is not subject to any territorial restrictions.
Dental care
Orthodontics
Max. €750
Up to age 15, MN reimburses up to €750, payable in €150 installments as follows:
- €150 upon device fitting
- €150 after 6 sessions
- €150 after 12 sessions
- €150 after 30 sessions
- €150 after 36 sessions
For treatments not covered by mandatory health insurance, a single reimbursement of €150 for a single treatment is guaranteed after 6 months for all beneficiaries.
Treatment & guidance
Dietetics / Obesitas
Max. €100 per year
MN reimburses €12.50 per session (max 8 sessions) for people suffering from anorexia or overweight (BMI > 25 for adults or percentile > 85 for children) based on the medical certificate confirming the BMI.
Homeopathic medicines
Max. €100 per year (50% of the cost)
MN reimburses 50% of the purchase price of your homeopathic medicines:
- with a prescription from a doctor or homeopath (in Belgium or a neighboring country)
- upon presentation of the BVAC receipt from your pharmacist. Please note that the product name and price, as well as an asterisk (*) indicating its reimbursable status, must be clearly indicated on the BVAC receipt.
Birth
Birth allowance
€350 allowance per child
MN provides an allowance of €350 per child upon the birth or adoption of a child under 19 years of age. In the case of multiple births, you receive this amount per child.
