Helan Benefits

Helan members receive a 60% reimbursement for co-payments, supplements, and materials, with a maximum of €1,050 for orthodontic treatment.

The reimbursement is granted upon submission of the standard health insurance form, duly completed and signed by the orthodontist, or proof of payment.

- Medical approval from the consulting physician for a statutory reimbursement must be obtained before the patient's 15th birthday.
- Treatment is started after January 1, 2021.
- Treatment may not be interrupted by the patient.

Helan provides a reimbursement of up to €10 per session.

The number of sessions is limited to a maximum of 150 sessions per five calendar years, and the amount is capped at a maximum of €1,500 per five calendar years.

You may not be entitled to reimbursement through statutory health insurance.

Helan provides reimbursement of €10 per session for a maximum of 12 sessions per year (€120) with a psychologist, educational psychologist, psychotherapist, or sexologist.

Sessions may take place via teleconsultation, and multiple sessions per day are possible.

Helan reimburses maternity care, or a doula, from one month before the birth until three months afterward. Helan reimburses €5 per hour, with a maximum of €150 (or 30 hours of maternity care) per parent and child.

As a single parent, you can receive a €300 reimbursement for maternity care from Helan.

After a hospital stay or intensive treatment, you can choose to continue your rehabilitation in a residential care facility. In most centers, your partner or caregiver can accompany you.

Helan reimburses the patient for a residential care or recovery stay in a recognized rehabilitation center. This reimbursement is €35 per day for the patient (€15 per day for the caregiver). The reimbursement is valid for a maximum of 28 days per year.
