The Solidaris Flanders member benefits are a package of discounts, services, and reimbursements aimed at improving well-being and health. All members of the health insurance fund can take advantage of them.

Glasses & lenses

Max. €25 per year
+ 50% discount at participating opticians

Solidaris reimburses up to €25 per calendar year for prescription glasses and contact lenses. The glasses have a diopter other than 0 or are not intended to correct a cylindrical deviation.

Participating opticians offer a 50% discount on glasses and contact lenses up to €50 per calendar year. This discount can be combined with the reimbursement for glasses and contact lenses.

Dental care

Orthodontics

Max. €1,050 (up to €1,425 in specific cases)

Solidaris reimburses up to €1,050 for orthodontic treatment started on or after April 1, 2021, in two installments of €525 (after fitting and after one year).

For special medical conditions, you will be reimbursed up to €1,425, in addition to the statutory reimbursement.

- Your application for orthodontics was submitted to your health insurance fund before the age of 15.
- Treatment must begin within two years.
- Treatment may be continued and even begin after the age of 15, but must be completed before the age of 22.

Treatment & guidance

Homeopathic medicines

Max. €75 per year (20% of the cost)

Each calendar year, Solidaris reimburses 20% of your homeopathic medicine purchases, up to a maximum of €75 per person.

The products must be on the list of homeopathic medicines for which your health insurance fund provides reimbursement.

Mental health

Youth: max. €240 per year
Adults: max. €120 per year

Solidaris provides a 50% reimbursement for psychological counseling for children and adolescents, with a maximum of €20 per consultation (€30 with an increased reimbursement). A maximum of 12 consultations per year and a maximum of one session per day are covered.

For adults, the reimbursement is 50%, with a maximum of €10 per consultation (€15 with an increased reimbursement). A maximum of 12 consultations per year and a maximum of one session per day are covered.

There is no reimbursement from compulsory health insurance, and the therapy is provided by a psychotherapist or psychologist who is a member of a professional association recognized by the health insurance fund or holds a visa issued by the Federal Public Service Public Health.

Diaper allowance

Max. €150 (Year 1: €45 per parent, Year 2: €35 per child, Year 3: €25 per child)

Solidaris offers a diaper allowance as part of its maternity benefits. The diaper allowance is worth up to €150 (year 1: €45 per parent and child, year 2: €35 per child, year 3: €25 per child). The benefit for year 1 is waived if you choose vouchers or other benefits as part of the maternity allowance offer.
