Glasses & lenses

Max. €75 per 2 years + €25 per frame per 4 years (under 18)

Max. €175 per 4 years (over 18)

For those under 18, Mutualia reimburses €75 every two years for optical supplies, with a prescription from an ophthalmologist, and provides a maximum reimbursement of €25 per pair of eyeglass frames, limited to the price paid, every four years, upon presentation of the invoice.

For those over 18, with a prescription from an ophthalmologist, a reimbursement of €175 is granted every four years. A detailed receipt for the supplies and the ophthalmologist's prescription must be submitted.

Lens implantation & laser treatment

Max. €125 per eye

Mutualia reimburses €125 per eye for laser or ultrasound surgery, capped at the price paid and after deduction of the reimbursement made by compulsory insurance.

Treatment & guidance

Mental health

Max. €240 per year

Mutualia grants you an annual reimbursement of €20 per psychological or sexological follow-up session with a maximum of 12 sessions per year.

Speech therapy

€3 of the personal contribution (maximum €225 per year) + €5 per session (maximum €375 per year

Mutualia reimburses all speech therapy treatments prescribed by a doctor approved by the INAMI (National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance) or by a specialist approved by the INAMI:

- The reimbursement is €5.00 per session if a refusal has been issued, either by the INAMI Medical Board or by the Medical Advisor. The total reimbursement is limited to €375.00 per calendar year per beneficiary.
- In the case of reimbursement by mandatory health insurance, the reimbursement is €3.00 per session. The reimbursement cannot exceed the legal co-payment charged to the beneficiary. The total reimbursement is limited to €225.00 per calendar year per beneficiary.

Health & prevention

Contraception

Max. €140 per year

Mutualia reimburses the cost of condoms, contraceptive treatments, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to treat menopausal symptoms for women of all ages:

- Up to €40 per year for the contraceptive pill, vaginal ring, injection, contraceptive patch, or any hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for menopausal symptoms, upon presentation of a BVAC (Benefit Assessment Certificate).
- €120 every 24 months for IUDs and implants, upon presentation of a receipt stamped by the pharmacist.
- A maximum reimbursement of €40 per calendar year is granted to members who are the policyholder or dependent for condoms purchased at a pharmacy.
