Here you can compare the benefits offered to MC members with those offered by other health insurance funds. Our simulator will ask for your postal code, family composition, and the topics that are important to you. It will then quickly and easily guide you to the health insurance fund where the offer is best suited to your needs and those of your family.
Below you will find some of the additional benefits offered to MC affiliates:
MC reimburses €250 per eye for refractive surgery (laser eye surgery or intraocular lens implantation, excluding hospitalisation).
For conventional orthodontics, MC reimburses:
- 100% of the patient's share of costs if your children (up to their 22nd birthday) have a comprehensive medical file (preliminary examination, regular check-ups, and retention check-ups).
- For braces as part of conventional treatment: €500 (two payments of €250 each) + an additional €500 reimbursement for specific conditions (cleft lip and palate, etc.).
The notification must be submitted to MC before the child's 15th birthday.
If mandatory health insurance covers the costs, MC will reimburse the patient contribution for speech therapy sessions for your children under 18, provided they have a comprehensive medical file (DMG, starting at age 1).
For children under 18, sessions are therefore fully reimbursed (except for any additional fees).
If mandatory health insurance does not cover the costs (or no longer covers them), MC will reimburse €10 per assessment or session, up to 75 sessions per condition, renewable once, with no age limit.
MC reimburses up to €100 per year per child for registration or membership fees for sports, from a wide range of sports disciplines, or for sporting events (even abroad), up to the age of 18.
From the age of 19, MC reimburses up to €50 per year per person for registration or membership fees for sports.
You can also use this benefit when buying a bicycle. MC will then reimburse up to €150 every three years for adults and up to €100 per year for children. For children, you can use up to €100 per year per child towards the bicycle, sporting activities, and camps, holidays and courses.
MC provides a birth or adoption allowance of €350 per child. In the case of multiple births or adoptions, you receive this amount per child.
