How to switch to or from AG Insurance
Would you like to switch to AG Insurance, or are you currently insured with AG Insurance and want to change insurer? Here we explain the best way to proceed.
Hospitalisation insurance with AG Insurance offers additional protection on top of mandatory health insurance. It covers medical expenses during hospitalisation, including supplementary fees, room and equipment costs. Expenses before and after hospitalisation, such as examinations and aftercare, are also eligible for reimbursement.
Coverage for serious illnesses and additional comfort options, such as the choice of room type or doctor, are often also included. Thanks to the direct arrangement with the hospital, you generally don't have to make large upfront payments.

Take out or switch to AG Insurance hospitalisation insurance
You can easily switch to AG Insurance hospitalisation insurance. AG Insurance offers AG Care with many possible options such as Pre- and Post, Delta, Medi-Assistance, Serious Illnesses and SL.
If you already have hospitalisation insurance through work or privately, you can usually switch without a waiting period and at a more favorable rate.
If you switch privately and have already had private hospitalisation insurance for one year, the notice period for your old contract is usually two months. If you don't yet have AG Insurance hospitalisation insurance, you can compare and choose the best option for you or switch.
